Murderglide

Murderglide

FINALLY a Murderglide to rule the name. Lots of people have bought a Harley Roadglide and blacked it out or “Murdered” it out and called it the ‘Murderglide.’ Roy with Trip Six Kustoms out of Sherwood Park Alberta had a different idea, a better idea.

Roy didn’t just start with a Roadglide, he picked up a 2018 Harley Davidson Roadglide that was a 1 of 10 Assault Glide series that was built by Trask Performance. A Trask performance bike itself is already a feature worthy bike. The Assault Glide was built with a Turbo kit bumping the horse power to just over 200 with 12-13 psi of boost. The entire body was updated with carbon fiber fenders, bags, and wheels. The bike also has an Ohlin’s inverted front end, upgraded swing arm, Arlen Ness mid controls, Cliptech Customs cover, risers, and gauge mount.

Roy had seen a few people do wraps on their bikes or their cars with blood splatter and thought to himself that he could do better with paint. He stripped the bike down and painted it a diamond ice pearl white. He then took three different concentrations of candy red paint and went at it. He used anything he could to get the splatter as realistic as possible, even using his hands. When he was done the bike was perfect and Roy looked like he had just taken part in a massacre, he still has the shoes from that day. Everything had to be sprayed on a wet bed, and at certain angles to make sure the splatter was going in the right direction. Roy topped off the bike with a custom seat by his friend at Clo’s General Co.

Now between the time we photographed the real ‘Murderglide’ and today, Roy actually raffled off this motorcycle to a lucky winner. Every month Roy does a raffle for a motorcycle, or two motorcycles, or even a matching truck and motorcycle, and one of his most recent raffles was for this motorcycle. The raffle is usually done with limited sales of an exclusive t-shirt or banner to get yourself entered. Make sure you  follow Roy at @tripsixkustoms on Instagram to see more of his work or to get in on some of his raffles.
