Blue Collar Garage Culture Shop: Rebel Restorations

Blue Collar Garage Culture Shop: Rebel Restorations

We met Travis with Rebel Restorations at World of Wheels in Calgary where he was showing off this beautiful Charger and an incredibly restored 1980 Trans Am that was an original black and gold car.

Travis started up his own shop less than three years ago and is clearly starting to build a name for himself. Him and his team are pumping out some beautiful drivers, and cool hot rods. To learn more about this Charger you will have to subscribe the magazine or stay tuned as we have a feature planed for it.

Specializing in body work and paint, they get trusted with work from a lot of other shops as well.

In the back of their 50x80 shop they have a paint booth and several projects on the go including a 1970 Cuda being completely rebuilt into a really nice driver.

They also have two 1970 Chevelle’s on the go both in different stages of their builds.

Not just stuck to metal, the team is also tackling the body work and and paint on a 1980 Corvette which if you didn’t know has an all fibreglass body, makes you itchy just thinking about it.

We even hooked our peepers on car we havent ever seen before in their shop, a 1970 AMC Rebel Machine, being completely restored back to 100% factory specs, this is a big challenge with only 2,326 ever built and they were only in production for 1 year.

To see more of the shop and other projects, check out our YouTube Channel, Cruise Culture Magazine, and don’t forget to check out our series sponsor, Blue Collar Garage for shop and warehouse space needs in the Alberta region.
