Welcome to the 1K Club

Welcome to the 1K Club

JUST last month I hit one of my main goals for 2023. I wanted to hit 1,000 subscribers on our YouTube Channel, This might not sound like a lot or maybe it does if you have tried your hands at content creation on YouTube.

At the beginning of 2023, I set a goal to hit 1k subscribers on YouTube and as of December 31st 2023 I was sitting at 987. So close I could taste it. I had taken a couple of weeks off from putting out videos to enjoy the holidays and the thought that crossed my mind was, if I had just put out one more video I could have met my goal.. Luckily on the night of January 3rd 2024, my subscriber count ticked to 1K and I felt a wash of relief run over me.

In my mind, 1k subscribers was a threshold. If I could grind and put out content that 1,000 people would like enough to subscribe to see me more, then the sky was the limit and that this would be worth it to continue grinding at. Truth is, it was just a matter of time, the kind words and repeat customers, the newly built relationships with advertisers, sponsors, friends, and contacts that this venture has allowed me to build, has opened so many doors.

A special thanks to our build sponsors like Fitech EFI, Gennie Shifter, Poppy’s Patina, Fatman Fabrication, Highwood Rod and Custom, and BOP Parts for taking a chance on me and supporting my 1955 Buick build that we have been calling Project Living Dead Girl, AKA Dead Betty. If you haven’t checked it out yet make sure to head over to our channel and hit that subscribe button.

I’m setting a new goal for the channel to hit 5k for end of 2024. If you aren’t already a subscriber be sure to head over and help me get there. Maybe this time we can even surpass it.

If YouTube ain’t your thing, then keep supporting the Magazine. Print copies are coming back, and we cover some of the coolest custom built rides from Canada and the United States right here and anything from custom shop built, to garage built, and anything cool in between. We have some awesome rides and content planned for this year and can’t wait to share it with you.

As always,

Keep Cruise Culture Alive,
