# Print Isn't Dead

# Print Isn't Dead

Thank you all for purchasing, or ordering your copy of the magazine and a special thank you to all our members who love the magazine enough to subscribe to it. Lets kick off this movement because #print isn’t dead. Print isn’t dead it is just different. In a world where you can see anything at any time from a device in your pocket, a magazine is difficult to sell. You have to order it, wait for it, read it. The only way to make this sought after is to create a community, not just a magazine. Cruise Culture Magazine isn’t just a car magazine, it’s a ticket, a guide, an insiders tool to seeing some of the coolest rides, small shops, fantastic shows, trends, and small manufacturers that make this hobby so great.

This magazine is different because we aren’t just a magazine, we are a YouTube channel, an Instagram page, a Facebook group, a TikTok channel, a conversation, a chat, a garage hang, a cruise, a “hey did you see that feature in the last issue of CCMag?”

We are a group of friends, you message me, I’ll message you back and we can share pictures of our cars, talk about our builds, our equipment, other cars, new vehicles, trends and the works, we are the start of a conversation about keeping the industry alive.

We will cover anything we think is cool in this magazine and it will always be like that. Chat me up, show me what you got, we might even put it in the magazine.

This community of readers and content consumers is incredible and if your reading this you are one of the reasons why Print Isn’t Dead, share this magazine with your friends online, post pictures of the articles and of the magazine itself, the advertisers are really cool too!

Print isn’t dead, it’s just different. I think that maybe what we are seeing is the death of news stands, and confusing it with the death of print. The newsstand was a place you would grab a newspaper or a magazine to kill some time while you wait somewhere or travel. The newsstand has become unnecessary because when we are bored or travelling we can just pull out our phones and check our social medias, or browse TikTok or YouTube. But the fans of magazines, the hardcore readers, the ones that read every issue or collected stacks of magazines, are still out there.. they just don’t shop newsstands, they maybe never did. They ordered subscriptions, and memberships, and ordered their issues in the mail or online.

Your still here! And I think the trick to keeping print alive is to set up the magazine for them, for you, instead of the impulse buyers at the newsstand in the gas station that no longer exist. Online magazines are dumb, sorry I said it but it’s true. But I think selling print magazines online is the key.

Gearing the magazine for the people who want  to read a magazine.

As always,

Keep Cruise Culture Alive,

Brian Holzli
